utah kingdomstrations…

i was back in salt lake city, utah this past weekend. for those who may not know this, my wife and i lived and did ministry there for 8 years. it was a great trip. saw a bunch of old friends, drove by the old house, visited the university of utah, and hung out with some old alum. at times it felt weird being back, because it has been a long time since i drove through our old neighborhood and walked the campus. i was spreading lotion all over myself constantly due to the saharan dryness floating in the air.

i spoke at God’s Place in ogden, utah with some great friends, Shannon and Nancy Schreyer who pastor the church. saturday night was a healing gathering and we saw several people healed and delivered. asthma was healed, arthritis, and much more including angelic stuff, yep, i said it, angelic. there are over 300 recorded angelic encounters in the Bible and Jesus wouldn’t have been born without angelic encounters, so i would say, we should be having them normally. sunday morning came and the Holy Spirit broke out. healings were happening all over the place, deliverance was taking place along with words of knowledge. Jesus was saying hello to quite a few including a girl from a girl’s home in the area. the Lord showed me that she was living as though she were defined by her past. i simply said, “you’re not defined by your past and Jesus doesn’t look backwards, only forward”. she immediately broke down with tears and joy. it was awesome!

then sunday night, shannon and i went to another church in ogden, utah to share. this was a place that normally doesn’t see breakouts of the Holy Spirit, but they are hungry. well, there was a breakout as people were being healed of asthma, carpel tunnel, fibromyalgia, and much more. so much happened, i could write for a few hours. i am seeing the kingdom of God truly increasing and increasing. it is happening all over the earth. Jesus is up to something very significant. the question becomes: will we participate, spectate, or excoriate? we just need to kingdomstrate. ok, the rhyming is getting a little out of control.

my hope and prayer is that we participate in what the Lord is doing. He likes using those of us with fears, doubts, insecurities and stupidness, which flow through my life like the colorado river. that is the mystery of grace. so much is going on in my head right now, but, i cannot put it into words. so, hopefully, words will leap off my head onto the computer screen in the next days to come.
